A Workplace Comedy Set in the Great Outdoors
PARKIES is an original workplace comedy series following the chaotic, underfunded, and deeply committed staff of a fictional provincial park.
Between unpredictable visitors, questionable programming decisions, bureaucratic nonsense, and the occasional wildlife-related crisis, the parkies are doing their best to protect the outdoors while barely keeping their workplace together.
Currently in Development
PARKIES was selected as the winner of the KCFF x Kingston Film & Media Script to Screen Competition and is currently in development with Second Line Pictures.
The series is being developed in Kingston, Ontario, with a focus on showcasing the region’s landscapes, strengthening local production infrastructure, and creating opportunities for local cast and crew.
